Welcome

Picture
I am a marine biologist and scuba/research diving instructor who is dedicated to supporting projects/programs in marine conservation and fisheries management. Most of my research and work centers on the design and management of marine protected areas, particularly in the context of the Coral Triangle and other tropical developing countries. In addition, I continue to be involved in the development and facilitation of capacity building, technical and non-technical training, and professional development initiatives related to biodiversity conservation and natural resource management.

Projects: Learn about my current and former projects in marine conservation and fisheries management, including my MSc research that investigated conservation planning strategies for incorporating diverse needs and priorities of fisheries-dependent stakeholders and communities in the design of marine protected areas.

Courses: Learn about capacity building, training, and professional development courses designed to support conservation practitioners to work more effectively and efficiently in the field of conservation science and practice.
